Astronomy Night - Friday, July 26

Astronomy bulletin board in the children's area of the library.

Friday, July 26th,  at 8:00 p.m.

Astronomy Night at the former Heath School Building's grounds.  (The astronomer that is coming with his telescope said the weather for Saturday night is predicted to be cloudy, so that evening of viewing has been cancelled.)

This location is great for night sky observation.

This evening event is free and open to the public!

The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Heath Library, The Heath Cultural Council, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Hike in Heath

 

Some outdoor fun books in our children's collection.

Friday, July 19th, 10:30 AM: Hike in Heath with Art Schwenger. Meet in Heath Center.

We will be joined by naturalist Henry Austin who will lead some fun kids' activities during the hike.

Please bring water, snack/lunch, and bug repellent.

 **All children must be accompanied by an adult**.

Friday, July 26th, 10:30 a.m.: Constellation Story Hour (Library) & at 8:00 p.m. Astronomy Night at the Former Heath School Building's grounds (with a 2nd night on Sat., July 27th in case of inclement weather.)
